The cubist etching from the 1947 book Du Cubisme by Albert Gleizes and Jean Metzinger is signed only in the plate, lower left, conjoined FR blindstamp lower left corner of the sheet. The medium is described by some sources as etching, engraving, and drypoint.

The book it was taken from was published in a limited edition of 435 copies (or 455) and included graphics by Picasso, Duchamp, Leger, Villon, Braque and others associated with the movement.
Image measures 6.75 x 3, sheet is 12 x 7.5 with a framed size of 14.75 x 10.75 inches.
Very good condition, noting a wide band of toning in the margins as shown here outside the frame and mat, not visible when matted and framed. Good wide margins with four deckle edges, not laid down, no damage, tear or repair.
