30: IMPERIAL GERMAN WWI M-16 HELMET, GAS MASK, CANNISTER

An original M-16 German Stahlhelm with hand painted tortoise shell pattern camo, M-1895 chinstrap posts. Gas mask with original lenses and filter, plus original cannister with replacement lenses inside the lid.

The camouflage paint on this helmet appears original and with minimal wear. The mask's leather is supple and complete. A really nice grouping.
Helmet shell appears size 66 although no mark was found.
Very good condition, displaying characteristics of wear, environment and use commensurate with age.
