Top of the barrel has the two line Colt address and patent dates, left side of the barrel is marked COLT DA 45, the underside of the barrel is marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY and the underside of the butt ''U.S./ ARMY / MODEL / 1917 / No / 112 / 153.'' The left side of the frame behind the trigger has flaming bomb proof mark top left of frame by the hammer is marked ''S20'' with eagle's head. Correct smooth walnut military version grips, no moon clips, lanyard on the underside of the butt.
