The mahogany case with drop front sits atop the case with two hand dove-tailed drawers on cabriole legs having carved knees and highly detailed ball-and-claw feet. The upper slant front opens to an elaborate divided interior of fine, thin drawers - some with serpentine shape fronts, divided compartments, a central cabinet with door and intricate inlays of twin columns, copious outlines of bellflower stringing designs, an arrangement of musical instruments and ivy - plus a secret hidden drawer.
Measures 42.5h x 41.5w x 23.5d inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, noting light wear at some edges, small scattered rubs and surface irregularities that may not show in the images.
