6319: A FINE LATE 19TH CENTURY BRONZE AND MARBLE PEDESTAL

The fine quality Rouge des Pyrenees marble pedestal is topped by a square revolving top on heavy bronze ring and collar with gilt finish toned over time, the slightly tapered cylindrical column rests in a cast bronze laurel wreath frame atop the square, stepped, plinth base raised on four bronze feet cast with outward facing pointed leaves.
Measures 44.5 x 12 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The gilt bronze ormolu fittings are aged and toned with areas of green verdigris.
