284: A CHARLES LOTTON MULTI FLORA ART GLASS TABLE LAMP

The large marigold color umbrella shade fading to red at the rim and with undulating rim finished by a 'stretch-glass' technique is overlaid with glass flowers and encircled with celadon vinery edged in blue/green. The whole is sprinkled with matching bits of confetti glass and internal dollops of dark red to purple glass. The shade interior is finished with a stretch glass type iridescence. The matching bulbous base with waisted lower portion is lit from inside and mounted to a substantial bronze base cut with flowing, swirling furrows. The shade is signed as shown.
Measures 20.5 x 13 x 13 inches.
Very good working condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of wear.
