The lithograph, printed on Rives watermarked paper and published by Associated American Artists in an edition of 250 prints, is signed by the artist in pencil lower right and dated 1937.

This was Grant Wood's first lithograph for Associated American Artists. He would go on to create eighteen more, including an image titled Family Doctor just before his death from cancer in 1941.
Image measures 8.5 x 10.75, sheet is 12 x 16, frame is 16 x 18.25 inches.
Very fine to mint condition, very clean and free from past improper mounting methods or exposure to acidic materials, apparently never framed, no matting tape or hinges, the full untrimmed sheet with four deckle edges, not laid down, no damage, stain, punctures, tears or repair.
Provenance: Private family collection, Toronto, Canada.
