The blue ground runner with red diamonds arranged end-to-end among stepped half-diamonds of camel colored wools enclosed by a guard border of lighter blue having bold patterns of foliates and repeating designs of perhaps derivations of ram's horns which are often included in rug designs signifying male fertility, strength, bravery.
Measures 178 x 39 inches.
Good condition with intact edges and ends, no odor, two areas of surface residue or stain, and areas of wear.
Provenance: A prominent Kansas City family's home at The Walnuts.
