232: A CHARLES LOTTON PEACOCK FEATHER ART GLASS LAMP

The large umbrella-like shade with gracefully undulating outer rim is overlaid in raised iridescent peacock feather decoration highlighted by shimmering green 'eyes' on mottled purple glass. The nicely matched bottle-form base is decorated in matching silvery green pulled feather decoration, and mounted to a very substantial hammered bronze base of high quality workmanship. The work is signed and dated by Charles Lotton around the top of the shade and again on the underside of the base.
Measures 22 x 22 inches.
Very good condition. There are absolutely no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
