The large format lithograph published in an edition of 100 prints is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and titled lower left. Listed in the artist's catalog raisonne as Greenough number 128 and printed on Arches watermarked paper. All Sandzen images with Poplars are especially desirable, this is a scarce large format print and even more unusual in vertical format.
Image measures 20.5 x 16.5, sheet is 24.75 x 20, and frame is 31 x 26 inches.
Good condition, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, punctures, tears or repair, the sheet is toned as shown and with a mat burn around the image, a water stain right side.
Provenance: A gift direct from the artist to a rural Kansas town's Art Association circa 1930.
