Benton's comments in Fath read: Drawing was made on Marthas Vinyard in the middle twenties. Scythe cutting of hay was common there at the time - and is still resorted to for small patches.
Image measures 10 x 12.5, sheet is 12 x 16, and frame is 17 x 20.5 inches.
Good condition, noting toning and trimming of the sheet, not laid down, no punctures, tears or repair; framed to archival standards in acid free mounts.
