6291: A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BELTON-TYPE BISQUE HEAD DOLL

The bisque socket head with painted features, closed mouth, pierced ears and impressed markings of numeral 9 and number 17 is fitted to a matching bisque shoulder plate in the original kid leather fashion doll body. This doll will be shipped undressed as shown in the last images for this lot.
Measures 18 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear. The body is as shown with old stitched repairs and reinforcements.
