The iconic design is found in its original covering and retaining its original black rubber pads. The original foil label numbered 0969 for the year 1969 is found on the underside of the base near the maker's marks of FH and 'Made in Denmark.'

Arne Jacobsen's Egg Chair, as it's now known, was originally designed in 1958 for the lounge and lobby areas of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Measures 42.5 x 36 x 34 inches.
Very good original condition, free from wear, fray, stain, odor, tears or repair. There is an area of lifting on the seat back visible as something of a bubble where the fabric has released from the form of the convex back.
