6105: A GOOD 19TH C. AMERICAN ROCKING BENCH IN ORIGINAL PAINT

The good 19th century American Windsor style bench is found in original condition with its long, flat splat fitted with arrow back spindles and scrolling arms joining the wide one-board seat fitted at front edge with a baby cradle gate displaying the original flourish of stenciled decoration, overall the bench retains its original opaque brown stain with pin stripe decoration and dry surface overall.
Measures 32 inches to the top of the ear, 45.5 inches across, the seat is 17 inches deep.
Very good condition, noting a break with the grain of the wood at the scroll of the left arm, otherwise very good with moderate overall wear commensurate with the age. There are not other issues of damage or repair.
