6048: AN E.N. WELCH ITALIAN NO. 3 DOUBLE DIAL CALENDAR CLOCK

The rosewood veneer case with rounded top has hardwood turnings each side of the case framing two dials. The top dial provides time and day while the lower dial tracks date and month. The Welch spring driven time and strike movement keeps time while the B. B. Lewis patented movement drives the perpetual calendar.
Measures 19.5 x 12 x 5 inches.
Very good condition, noting flaking as shown to both dials having their original paint. Scattered minor veneer repairs, two screws missing from the lower hinge of the calendar door. Original back and labels. Good running condition at the time of inspection, though the function of the calendar is not fully known.
