486: GEORG JENSEN ORNAMENT 38 FLAT BUTTER SPREADING KNIVES

The set of twelve with hammered silver handle and blade are stamped by the maker with pattern number 38. Each has a three letter monogram engraved on the handle.
Measures 5.25 inches.
Very good original condition, noting a monogram is engraved on each handle.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
