357: EXTRAORDINARY CRANBERRY CUT TO CLEAR ART GLASS STEMS


Each unusual cranberry overlaid goblet bowl is cut back in similar, but unique, relief decoration of meandering florals embellished with touches of engraved highlights, the cut and polished crystal stem of each, with engraved detail, joins a bell-shape cranberry overlaid foot carved back to encircle the foot in raised cranberry dots.
Each measures 9.5 x 4 inches.
Two have chips at the rim as shown, three others have small rim nicks, there are no other chips, cracks, repairs to any.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
