The fine porcelain with hand painted view of Albrechtsburg Castle in rocaille reserve trimmed in gold on a cobalt blue ground, the interior decorated in gold tracery, intertwined porcelain handle and blue underglaze crossed swords mark.
Measures 2.75 x 3.5 x 2.75 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
