The three scrolling feet support a bulbous receptacle with figural prunus handles and blue enamel key design at the rim topped by a pierced cover having openwork cloud motif among cloisonné reserves below a bulbous knob finial.
Measures 9 x 5.5 inches.
Good condition noting losses to the enamel work top of the handles, no other chips, cracks, dents or repairs.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
