515: A PAIR 19TH C. BOHEMIAN CUT AND POLISHED CANDLESTICKS


The tall, heavy, flawless amber glass candlesticks are cut and polished on every surface from the rayed foot (each cut differently) to stepped base, cut panel stem, faceted knop, paneled candle cups topped by finely crosshatched turrets.
Each measures 13.5 x 5.75 inches.
Good condition, noting a flake on one candle cup. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
