The copper flash patinated bronze figural elephant incense burner with hinged top opening and fine, high quality detail is paired with an antique bronze silk smoothing iron cast with archaic design decoration in relief.
Measures 4 x 5.25 x 7.5 and 9 x 7.5 x 3.75 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
