80: AMEDEO GENNARELLI (1881-1943) BUST OF A YOUNG LADY

The nicely sculpted portrait of a young woman coiffed in a style that foretells the more radical styles of the 20s and 30s is richly patinated in dark brown with touches of verdigris in the recesses. The work was cast at the Perdot Foundry in Paris per the founder's mark back side of the casting near the artist's signature and the stamped lettering of Made in France. The fine bronze is displayed on a handsome block of veined black marble for an overall height of 23 inches.
Measures 23 x 7.75 x 7.75 inches and weighs 74 pounds.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or wear.
