Winchester Model 1873 'King's Improvement', .44-40 cal lever-action rifle manufactured in 1875, 24-inch round barrel with 15 round tubular magazine, steel butt plate, adjustable rear sight with iron front sight. Marked 'Model 1873' on the top tang at the wrist. The butt stock is almost certainly not original.

This rifle was originally offered by us on Dec 27 of 2022. The bid was won online by a bidder from Czechoslovakia and immediately canceled.
Measures 43.5 inches overall, 24.5 inch barrel.
Bluing 80% with surface oxidation on the barrel, sights, magazine and receiver. Stocks with minor dings and discoloration.
