The art pottery sculpture of a kneeling figure with jar or pot was made at the Sequoyah Indian School in Tahlequah, Oklahoma as indicated by the scratch mark on the underside of the base. Melba June is the name of the student who completed work on this particular model, number 39, which has been found with markings for various students who would have finished the basic design.
Measures 6 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
