The seven pewter medals, along with an eighth in bronze, are examples of a limited casting run commissioned by Arizona grocery store magnate Eddie Basha. Mr. Basha hired the painter and sculptor of Western subjects Joe Beeler (member of the Cowboy Artists of America) to create an edition of Native American chief portrait medallions to gift business associates. Each is signed in the casting by Joe Beeler front and inscribed from Eddie Basha verso.
Each medallion measures 3.5 inches in diameter.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or wear.
Provenance: The estate of Tom Watson, Honorary Member of the Cowboy Artists of America.
