236: A TALL NORTHWEST PLATEAU IMBRICATED BASKETRY BOWL

The taller example, similar in form to the Hopi peach baskets, is of Northwest Plateau Salish related origin with construction accented by a wide imbricated rim over three rich colors of weft above a pronounced base rim. There is a break at the top rim.
Measures 5.25 x 7 x 7 inches.
Good condition, noting a break at the top rim as shown in the images.
