175: AN 18-INCH APACHE BASKETRY BOWL CIRCA 1900

The coiled rod foundation is wrapped in willow interspersed with devil's claw to create circling bands of checkerboard-like motif centered by a black bull's eye in the base.
Measures 4.25 x 18.25 x 18.25 inches.
Very good condition, noting bits of loss to the rim wrap and scattered other bits as shown, plus a small central hanging hole.
Provenance: A private inherited collection originating 40-plus years ago in Nebraska.
