The nice stone-polished example with damage at the rim has a squared opening over inward curving neck above the buff slip band painted with black deer and red florals over the distinctive darker red band of slip found on earlier examples and a large, pronounced convex indented base.
Measures 6.75 x 8 x 8 inches.
Some surface discoloration, serious spalling and loss at the rim.
Provenance: A private inherited collection originating 40-plus years ago in Nebraska.
