295: ROYAL WORCESTER 'PAINTED FRUIT' THREE PIECE COFFEE SET

The finely painted set includes a cream jug with pears signed 'W.H. Austin' for Walter Austin (1891-1971), a baluster teapot with apples, blackberries and grapes on mossy ground signed 'H.H. Price' for Horace H. Price (Born 1898) and open sugar bowl with plums and grapes signed 'H.H. Price' for Horace H. Price (Born 1898) as well. Each piece is richly gilded and bears the puce underglaze mark dating to 1898.
Sizes range from 2.25 to 7.25 inches in height.
The small cream jug displays considerable crazing. Otherwise very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of wear.
