55: ROSITA CATA POTTERY JAR AND ALAN HOUSER SERIGRAPH

Two pieces from the Wiederholt collection:

1. A serigraph print of kachina dancer with printed signature.

2. A redware jar with an unglazed band of etched decoration and signature of Rosita Cata San Juan Pou.
Pot measures 3.5 x 4.75 and the image is 5.75 x 4.5 with a framed size of 13 x 11.5 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage, stain or repair.
Provenance: The 40 year collection of Father Tom Wiederholt, Kansas City, Missouri. Tom was a close personal friend of scholar and curator Ralph 'Ted' Coe who advised Tom on most of his acquisitions.
