The Peter Lovig floating rosewood desk designed for Nielsen employs a hinged flip-top feature to create a work surface for a partner working on the opposite long side. The underside is stenciled with the date of 1973 and the Lovig brand. Includes two keys.

A Kai Kristiansen Model 31 rosewood chair for Schou Andersen is included.
Desk measures 33.5 x 63.75 x 28.75 and the chair is 30 x 19.75 x 19 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear, with the exception of a small tear in black vinyl of the chair back.
Provenance: Deaccession from the Alice C. Sabatini Gallery - Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library. Listed as desk and chair of Dr. Hirschberg who joined Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kansas in 1952 and served as director of children's services from 1957 to 1970.
