Two good 19th century Italian School carved alabaster sculptures.

1. Carved alabaster portrait of a woman with water jug dressed in bodice, dress and bonnet, signed Cipriani on the rustic tree stump back side.

2. Carved alabaster portrait of a sheepish child in Victorian garb clutching a handful of picked flowers. No signature found.
The larger measures 24.5 x 7 x 9.5 inches. The smaller measures 17.5 x 5 x 5 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges, no damage or repair. There are instances of the alabaster being joined by plaster that appear as seams and lines. There are no major chips, cracks or repairs to either piece.
