Mechanical: Cabinet Hi-polished ebony polyester-excellent condition; Belly-Soundboard, bridges, excellent condition; Pinblock, tuning pins, strings, etc. excellent condition; Pedals, lyre, trapwork, excellent condition; Action, keys, hammers, repetitions, damper action, several sluggish keys.

Tone, Dynamic range, Timbral range, Touch response, The tone is pretty clear and well-defined when playing with a medium-soft touch. When the dynamic to pushed to loud, the sound becomes harsh. Due to limitations of the action and the voicing of the hammers, it is nearly impossible to play soft. The overall touch feels heavy, uneven and hard to control.

Comments: Mechanical evaluations alone can be very misleading. Even though this piano is in excellent mechanical condition it was not intended to be a top-tier instrument such as Yamaha or Kawai. It does not have the beautiful tone and dynamic and timbral response of the class-leaders. But it delivers a lot for the price for the non-serious player.
