The flat-top trunk with wood slats and embossed tin covering in original gilt finish is fitted with cast iron reinforcements and retains its original interior arrangement embellished by decoration of chromolithography paper portraits and fancy trimmings. The leather handles at either end appear to be original. ONSITE AUCTION: This on-site auction is intended to be local pick-up or local delivery only. Winning bidders who require packing and shipping agree to pay a handling fee of $20 per lot for transportation from the sale location to our shipping facility.
