11: A 19TH CENTURY LOUIS XV STYLE FRENCH PANETTIERE

The fine Louis XV style example with nine original turned wood finials atop the various peaks of the front and sides, relief carvings of wheat (this being a bread safe) along with traditional French motifs of flower baskets and musical trophies as well as other carvings on the serpentine front case joined by wood pegs and centered by a small door with large cylindrical iron hinge. The whole is raised on four cabriole whorl-and-hoof legs pegged to scrolling skirts.
Measures 42.5 x 30.5 x 16 inches.
Very good condition throughout with fine dark patina, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
