The pair of two-color chaps described in the Shipley catalog as Tanned Steer Hide or Calfskin are made with a thick tooled leather belt laced in the middle, three conchos down the length of each near the scroll cut overlays, and one pocket with flap each side. The pair is stamped C.P. SHIPLEY KANSAS CITY in oval on the belt.
Very good condition, noting normal wear and the effects of age and use as shown. No major damage, repair or replacements.
