25: AN ELABORATE TOOLED LEATHER SADDLE STAMPED MOSS CHANUTE

The two-color tooled leather saddle with fancy undercut swell fork topped by nickeled horn with bull's eye and fronted by piecrust decoration matching that of the high back seat is stamped Moss Saddle Co Maker Chanute, Kans on each fender above the leather-wrapped stirrups and on the seat. The front tie strap holder is stamped as well, and numbered 9509.
Measures 14.5 inches from the base of the horn to the inside edge of the cantle.
Very good clean condition throughout, no damage, repair, abuse or heavy wear.
