32: A SMOKY HILL ART CLUB PRINT SIGNED BY BIRGER SANDZEN

This print, and lot number 30 in this auction catalog, are from a small group of images that were, it is believed, issued as Smoky Hill Art Club membership gift prints. They differ from the original editions that Sandzen created in that they are smaller in size than the original prints and were not pulled from the original plate, block or stone. Rather, they were printed by some other method. This reproduction is nonetheless signed by Birger Sandzen in pencil below the image lower left and titled lower right.
Image measures 4.75 x 7 with a framed size of 10.75 x 12.75 inches.
Very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
