FINE 19TH CENT SEVRES PORCELAIN AND BRONZE WINE COOLERS

287: FINE 19TH CENT SEVRES PORCELAIN AND BRONZE WINE COOLERS

The fine 19th century pair comprised of Sevres French porcelain vessels with blue interlaced L's mark underglaze are presented in very fine gilt bronze mounts of high quality exhibiting excellent original sheen, crisp casting and nice patina.
Each measures 12 x 11.5 x 6.75 inches.
Good to very good condition, noting interior firing lines visible from the inside of each and form the underside of each. These lines with rounded edges where the glaze flowed into them line do terminate at each vessel side in tight black lines that resemble cracks. One base is bisected by a stain that may resemble a line in the images. Each basin held liquid for days at a time without leaking. There are no other instances of lines, chips, cracks, repairs or wear.
